Internacional Short Film Competition Regulations
CONDITIONS
1º The screening copy of the films can be presented in one of the following video formats:.mov or mp4., File coding: H264, only films made after the 1st of January 2012.
2º The maximum running time of films is 30 minutes. Only films not available online.
3º The screening copy of films in languages other than Spanish must be subtitled in Spanish Or a complete timecoded spanish or english dialogue list must be provided in .srt format.
4º The contact person indicated on the entry form will be informed of the result of the selection.
5º The selected films will be presented in the Film Festival catalogue and will be shown in public screenings. venues and dates will be announced in the official website of the Festival.. the festival will never use the films for TV or online screeenings.
6º Appeals cannot be made against decisions taken by the Selection Committee and Jury.
7º The producers of the selected short films authorize the use of a fragment of the work (a maximum of three minutes) for inclusion in informative materials for the news media, including Internet.
8º The addition of any new awards not currently included in these conditions will be appropriately announced through festival communication channels (Web, press releases etc.).
9º The participation of everyone involved necessarily requires complete acceptance of these conditions, and the resolution of any problem not included therein by the festival. Registration therefore involves the acceptance of the conditions.
REGISTRATION
10º You can send your film through REELPORT or directly to the festival email.
The following is required to be sent to our email address tenerifeshorts@gmail.com in that second case:
– Completion of the form
– Three high-resolution digitalized photos of the film, one of the director and digital poster.
– Private Youtube or Vimeo link of the film (spanish or english subtitled)
11º The deadline for entries and shipment of the compulsory material is extended to 15th of april 2014.
12º The films selected must be sent in exhibition format on a date indicated when they are selected.
JURY
13º The jury responsible for the award and trophY given to the films selected for the International Competition will be made up of professionals from the cinematographic, artistic and cultural sector.
14º In the event that the Jury feels it is necessary to make a joint award, the sum of the award will be divided between the works in question.
TENERIFE SHORTS AWARDS
TENERIFE SHORTS Jury Award: 500 Euros and TROPHY
TENERIFE SHORTS Audience Award: DIPLOMA
The amount of the awards will be sent to the director of the award-winning film. This amount is subject to taxation determined by laws in force at the time.
Certamen Internacional de Cortometrajes
Bases de participación
CONDICIONES
1º Se podrán presentar al certamen cortometrajes con copia de exhibición en .mov, o mp4 y codificación de archivos en H264 realizadas con posterioridad al 1 de enero de 2012
2º La duración máxima de las películas no excederá de 30 minutos.. no pueden estar publicadas en la red
3º La copia de exhibición de las películas no habladas en castellano deberá estar subtitulada en castellano.
4º Se informará a la persona de contacto indicada en el formulario del resultado de la selección.
5º Las pelÍculas seleccionadas figurarán en el catálogo del Festival de Cine y se exhibirán en sesiones públicas en. Los lugares y fechas que se anunciarán por la web oficial del Festival.. no se harán proyecciones en tv o a través de internet
6º Los fallos del Comité de Selección y de los Jurados son inapelables.
7º Los productores de los cortometrajes seleccionados autorizan la utilización de un fragmento de las obras (máximo tres minutos), para su difusión como materia informativa en cualquier medio de comunicación, incluido Internet.
8º La incorporación de cualquier otro premio que no figure en las presentes bases, será oportunamente anunciado en la vías de comunicación del festival (Web, notas de prensa etc.).
9º Todos los participantes, por el hecho de serlo, aceptan Íntegramente las presentes bases, así como la resolución por la organización de cualquier problema no recogido en éstas. La inscripción supondrá por tanto la aceptación de las bases.
INSCRIPCIÓN
10º Es necesario enviar en un email a la dirección tenerifeshorts@gmail.com:
– Formulario de inscripción
– 3 fotografías digitalizadas en alta resolución de la película, una del director y poster.
– Enlace privado de Youtube o Vimeo del cortometraje. el cortometraje deberá estar hablado o subtitulado al inglés o castellano.
11º La fecha límite de inscripción y envío del material requerido se prolonga hasta el 15 de abril de 2014
12º Las pelÍculas que sean seleccionadas deberán ser enviadas en una fecha que se indicará en el momento de la selección.
JURADOS
13º El Jurado que decidirá los premios y trofeos entre las películas seleccionadas estará formado por profesionales del medio cinematográfico, artÍstico y cultural.
14º En el caso de que el Jurado considere imprescindible entregar algún premio ex aequo, la cuantía del mismo se dividirá entre las obras consideradas.
PREMIOS TENERIFE SHORTS
Premio internacional Tenerife Shorts: 500 Euros y TROFEO
Premio del Público Tenerife Shorts: DIPLOMA
La cuantía de los premios será para el realizador del film premiado. Dicha cuantía está sujeta a las retenciones que determine la ley vigente.
