Una familia se rompe. El día en que Marcos y su hermano pequeño tienen que escoger a uno de sus padres, Marcos intentará convencer a Sergio de ir a vivir con su padre. Sin embargo, Sergio no quiere alejarse de su madre. La disputa de los adultos pasará a ser la suya: un divorcio no destroza solo un matrimonio, sino toda una familia.
A family breaks apart. The day Marcos and his little brother have to choose which of their parents they want to live with, Marcos will try to convince Sergio to go with their dad. But Sergio doesn’t want to leave his mum. The adult dispute will become theirs: a divorce doesn’t destroy just a marriage, but a whole family.

Sueños guía, sueños premonitorios, sueños de conexión con la muerte, sueños vívidos y vividos. Afirma Lacan que un sueño quedará registrado en la psique de tres formas distintas, que el psicoanalista francés denominaría: lo Real, lo Imaginario y lo Simbólico. Estos tres conceptos se unen a través de un nudo borromeo: “El desanudamiento de cualquiera de los tres provoca el desanudamiento de los otros dos”.
Guiding dreams, premonitory dreams, dreams of connection with the afterlife, vivid dreams. Lacan says a dream will be recorded in three different ways in the psyche, which the French psychoanalyst would call: the Real, the Imaginary and the Symbolic. These three concepts come together through a Borromeo knot: «The untying of any of the three causes the untying of the other two.»

Nos pasamos el día grabando cosas para enterrarlas en el disco duro. Igual el arte del futuro tiene menos que ver con grabar más que con desenterrar imágenes y re-cordarlas, dejar que emerjan.
Utilizando como punto de partida material de archivo encontrado, VERSIONES exhuma la vieja historia familiar de la autora focalizándose especialmente en la relación frustrada entre el padre y su primer hijo y en las heridas que aún no terminan de cerrar.
We spend the whole day recording things to get them buried in a hard disk. Perhaps, future art has less to do with recording and more with unbury images and remember them, let them emerge.
Using as point of departure found footage material, VERSIONS exhumes the author’s old family story focusing in the frustrated relationship between the father and his first son, furthermore in wounds that are still open.
