Franco, el capitán intrépido, su espada en forma de cruz pues cruzada en defensa de los altos valores de la patria era lo que iba a emprender el avión que le sacó de Canarias, simbolizado por un arcángel. Tenerife recordará con este monumento a las generaciones futuras que fue aquí dónde se inició la reconquista de la patria para la paz, la libertad y el orden.
A statue of Franco, the fearless captain, holding his cross-shaped sword, ready to defend the values of the country before boarding the plane that would take him from the Canary Islands, symbolized by an archangel. With this monument, Tenerife would remind future generations that it was here where the Reconquest of the homeland for peace, freedom and order began.
