María has a steady job and a quiet life, but her father’s death forces her to examine her feelings. Juan, with whom she has had an affair, is a musician and music teacher. After a series of meetings and arguments, they will share a moment of understanding and honesty.

Mika empieza a presionarles más, bordeando los límites de lo que es correcto en este tipo de situaciones y lo que no.
Mika is auditioning male actors for her first feature. The actors are all well-established alpha dogs in the film business. The situation turns more sour as their confidence in her reaches new lows. Mika starts pushing harder, reaching the limits for what’s okay in this kind of situation and what is not.

Siempre de eterna sujeta velas, Joanna se une a la relación de su compañera de cuarto Isabel, más carismática que ella. El descompensado trío discute cada vez más a medida que sus integrantes compiten por tener el control. Con tonos de comedia negra, Sin talento para el baile analiza la dinámica “lideresa-seguidora” de dos amigas, cuya rivalidad llena de celos se desarrolla en el mundo surrealista de canto, baile y sexo que caracteriza a este cortometraje.
A perpetually awkward third wheel, Joanna inserts herself into the relationship of her more charismatic roommate Isabel. The mismatched threesome becomes increasingly contentious as the characters vie for control. With darkly comedic tones, Bad at Dancing examines the leader-follower dynamic of the two friends – their jealous rivalry plays out in the film’s surreal world of singing, dancing and sex.

Simultáneamente extraños y familiares, lejanos y cercanos, inquietantes y seductores, forasteros y cosmopolitas, los gitanos están envueltos en un aura de ambigüedad. No se puede decir que sean invisibles, puesto que apenas pasan desapercibidos. Como las ranas hechas de porcelana, los gitanos no pasan desapercibidos para un observador cuidadoso. Este filme se sumerge en la realidad de la vida cotidiana portuguesa, narrando el comportamiento xenófobo de una sociedad.
Simultaneously strange and familiar, distant and near, disquieting and seductive, outsider and cosmopolitan, gypsies are shrouded in an aura of ambiguity. They cannot be said to be invisible, as they hardly go unnoticed. Like the frogs made of china, the gypsies don’t go unnoticed to a careful observer. This film immerses itself in the reality of Portuguese everyday life, telling about the xenophobic behaviour of a society.

Crystal Lake is about a group of girls who take over a skate park, forming an all-female force field on the half pipe. There on the ramp, with no boys around, they are thriving and visible. This is an anthem for young feminists which presents female friends as a means to survive adolescence. EVERY GRRRL-SHAPED BREATH IS A BATTLE CRY.

A slow stroll through an abandoned amusement park in Casablanca. On one hand, the film portrays the young people who frequent the place; on the other, it minutely stages reconstituted lives inspired, in their majority, by images found on social networks.

According to a legend, Joan of Arc did not die burned at the stake. They burned out her eyes and had her deflowered by an English stallion. She was then condemned to wander the battlefields like a scavenger, on the lookout for surviving virgins.

Josebe (88) vive en una residencia para ancianos. Está obsesionada con saber de qué parte del País Vasco vienen los demás ancianos que viven ahí con ella. El resto, confundidos, le responden que son chilenos. Después de más de un año en ese hogar, Josebe se descubre cada día que lleva viviendo más de 70 años en Chile, mientras sus recuerdos de juventud siguen muy vivos en su interior.
Josebe (88) lives in a nursing home in Chile. She’s obsessed with knowing where do the rest of the elder people she lives with, come from. Everyone tell her that they are chilean, not spaniard as she is. Josebe insists on thinking about her youth in the Basque Country. After a full year living in that house, she struggles to remember that she is living in a nursing home. After 70 years in Chile, she still remembers lively her homeland.
