Catalina wanders across a vast salt lake under the blazing sun. According to her grandmother, the lake is made up of the dried tears of storytellers, for, in order for the sun to shine, a story must be sacrificed every day to the sun god Tata Inti.

Un viejo oso sale todos los días a la misma esquina, para montar un espectáculo callejero con un pequeño teatro que el mismo ha construido, lleno de marionetas de hojalata. Los transeúntes pueden ver la historia de un oso de circo que fue separado de su familia y su viaje para volver a casa.

An old bear goes out every day to a busy street corner. He sets up a small wooden theater containing tin puppets of his own making. For a coin, the bear will set the mechanisms in motion, the marionettes will start to move and a story will unfold inside the box. Through the peephole passerbyes will see the life of a circus bear that longs to escape and return to his family.

On November the 3rd 1957 Laika was on board of a soviet spaceship being sent to space. This made her the first living being in space – a slap in the face for the United States of America, who lost the illusion to be far ahead of the Soviet Union.
